Who are we?
The SHAP BE Group consists of three companies, SAX, Schrauwen and Lambrechts and has 43 pick-up locations with or without sanitary and heating showrooms across 6 provinces in Belgium. In addition, the group has 3 distribution centres in 3 different provinces with a total storage space of more than 50,000 m2. The main customers are professional installers and until recently the three companies have operated relatively independently with separate organizations, processes and systems. Since 2019 an ambitious strategic program has been implemented with concrete initiatives that contribute to the harmonisation of the companies and the growth and profitability of the group. In 2019, the group has been acquired by Blackstone, one of the largest private equity funds in the world.
In order to sustain the growth of the business, SHAP BE is now looking for an exceptional individual, who as HR Business Partner, drives and supports the talent acquisition agenda of the SHAP BE Group.
Where will you be working?
Your post will be within the HR Department. You will be part of a fantastic team and report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
You will be responsible for the Commercial channel within the group.
What does your job entail?
You will Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
You are fully capable of Bridging management and employee relations
You will support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
You implement overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the commercial organization
Nurturing a positive working environment is your passion
You oversee and manage a performance appraisal process that drives high performance
You assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
You support commercial management and provide decision support through HR metrics
You ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
What knowledge, experience and skills do you have to offer?
Proven working experience as HR Manager (minimum 3 years)
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to implement strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Degree in Human Resources or related field
Fluent in Dutch, French and English
Willing to travel throughout Belgium (up to 50%)
